Admissions Policies 2027-2028 (for consultation)

On behalf of the Governing Body of The Gilberd School, please find attached the proposed admission arrangements and Supplementary Information Forms (SIFs) for academic year 2027-28.

This consultation relates to proposed changes to the policy which include:

1. General updates to dates throughout the document.
2. Revision to extend Priority A.3 Service Pupil Premium (SPP) submission deadline to allow parents/carers additional time to provide evidence of eligibility and Supplementary Information Form (SIF).
3. Addition of a sentence outlining the procedure for Year 12 admissions (effective from September 2027).

The six-week consultation period will run from Tuesday 25th November 2025 to Tuesday 6th January 2026 inclusive.
