Prefect Assignments

Congratulations to our Year 10 Prefects, Mentors, Senior Prefects Senior Mentors and the Senior XIV who received their ties and insignia in assembly today. Thank you to out-going Head Boy and Head Girl Jack and Lillie for their handover. As is tradition at The Gilberd School, we will be inviting a second tranche of Prefect applications from Year 10 after Easter.

Just One Tree - update

Thank you students at The Gilberd School who supported the charity on non uniform day, at least 813 seeds will be planted by Just One Tree’s in nurseries.
The seedlings will be transported to their carefully selected new homes, where they will be planted and nurtured over the coming years,  trees will then start to remove roughly 9.99 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year.
