Well done girls on winning the creative award

We began our day in the lecture theatre of the Marconi Centre in the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. We listened to five women who spoke about their inspiring stories and journeys into the world of tech and presented the awards. We were presented the award for creativity for the design of our period tracking device, which we called: The Health Belt.

Once all the awards had been presented to a variety of different schools, we were given a tour of the Anglia Ruskin University. It looked incredible and there is such a wide range of subjects to study. We were also taken into the new medicine building that had cost £20 million and were given a detailed tour of one of the super labs. When the tour had finished and after a successful day, we headed back to the minibus and drove back to school.
