Students wishing to take GCSE exams in Spring instead of Summer need to be completing the arrangements very quickly now!

The annual Gilberd School Open evening was on Wednesday 26th September from 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Parents of current year 6 and those interested in next year's intake were able to tour the school and listen to talks from the headteacher Mrs. Exley.
Many parents also took the opportunity to see us in action on a normal day by taking one our tours on Thursday 27th.

The annual German exchange visit to Bitburgh was a great success and the lucky students returned on Wednesday 26th. We look forward to the visit from the German students later in the year.

Last year's GCSE students produced some fantastic individual performances and a great overall result. All the staff send sincere congratulations to all students in the previous year 11 and wish them well in their further endeveavours

The year 11 yearbooks have arrived and are ready for collection at the school office. If you haven’t paid the £5 balance you will need to pay it before you get the yearbook
