Events

We very much hope you will be able to attend to meet subject staff and tutors and discuss your child’s progress. We would be grateful if you could try and see as many staff as possible to enable you to get an accurate impression of your child's performance. The Parents Evening will start at 4pm and finish at 6:30pm

The GCSE Art trip to the Sainsburys centre for visual art will take place on March 11th 2010. We will be leaving at 9am and returning at 3pm. Letters have been handed out. replies must be in by next Tuesday.

The Photography GCSE trip to Tilbury Fort will take place on Friday 12th March. Letters have been handed out. replies must be in by next Tuesday.

This event will take place from 4pm

We have been informed that this will now be held on Thursday 18th March and not Friday 19th March

The plan of the day is as follows:

• Year 5 and Year 7 students are to meet in the reception between 8.45am – 9.00am.
• Periods 1, 2 and part of peroid 3 sessions will be held in room 30. From 11.30am -11.45am Year 5 and 7 students will be returning back to their schools.

For Sports Relief we are holding a non-uniform day on Friday 19th March . For this event we are asking students to dress in a ‘sporting theme’! There will be various activities throughout the day including a rowathon in the dining hall with Miss Sibley and Mr Elliot, with Eddie the Eagle, the Colchester United mascot visiting us at 12pm. There will also be the ‘Gilberd Mile’ on the school field, which starts at 1.40pm. We hope to see you all there!
