Active Listeners
A peer mentoring service, run by Year 10 students that have had a two day training course through the counselling service Relate. They are there for younger students within the school to be a listening service, helping to tackle minor bullying, school work issues, family or friendship concerns etc… They are available in the Library on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, working in pairs. The wear a blue Active Listeners badge and students can arrange a visit through the Active Listener email address: activelisteners@gilberd.com , or can simply drop in.
